Growth in the overall MFP market continues. All technologies will see continued growth but over the forecast period, growth will begin to slow down as the installed base and historical shipments increase strongly.

The number of available models is increasing, and this is leading to a great deal of similarity on speeds, specifications, and price points and so a key to growth for vendors is to look for more unique selling points that differentiate themselves from the competition. They hope to create an augmented product with their go to market strategies, their technologies and their software and solutions, which are becoming increasingly important for tender opportunities and indeed the general office environment.
