The Finnish software market slowed slightly in 2007 compared to 2006 but still recorded a healthy growth rate of 9.1%. "While many companies started to worry about slowing economies, software growth in 2007 was above expectations and quite healthy. We expect the software market to be fairly resilient to the dampened financial outlook but nevertheless expect a slowing of the market over the next two to three years," said Per Andersen, managing director at IDC Nordic. IDC expects the Finnish software market to grow by a compounded annual growth rate of 7.3% for the period 2008-2012. Table of Contents
