Product Type: Market Research Report

Product Code: R3523-3Description This report has been a real labor of love and taken far longer than we expected when we took it on. Looking back it’s pretty clear why. Quad play is exceptionally complicated, it relies on the convergence of at least two separate sub-cultures, around each of the networks that are being used for the Quad play - wired and wireless. There are also complex hybrids, for instance using Digital Terrestrial TV with VoD as the TV, or sing Satellite DTH technology, while using conventional
DSL or WiMAX as the two way fixed service, and cellular
for the mobility. For each network there are a different set of suppliers with their own way of thinking, and a different set of economic problems. Each market has developed different regionally, and consumers expect different things and operators are capable of different things.Table of Contents - Introduction and Methodology
