MultiService WAN switch sales increased this quarter, after seven straight quarters of declining sales. Total worldwide MultiService WAN switch manufacturer sales revenues in 4Q 02 are $621 million. This is an increase of 15% from the previous quarter, but a drop of 26% from 4Q 01. About 76% of the sales were for ATM/IP/MPLS-related equipment, and 24% of the sales were for Frame Relay.
