4Q 00 Terabit Router Market Analysis

Following a 16 percent increase during the third quarter of 2000, the total router market shrank 1 percent sequentially to $3.5 billion in sales for the fourth quarter of 2000. This represents a 50 percent increase in sales from the same period in 1999. Revenues also grew 57 percent for the entire year in 2000 over 1999.
