With competition entering the local market, service providers must retain and grow their residential services markets. Consumers demand more and will choose the providers that can differentiate themselves and support consumers' needs at a reasonable price point.
Specifically, this study reports on current and planned use of local and long distance telephone service, Internet service, wireless service, and cable television/DBS. Information on telecommuting and demand for one-stop shopping/bundled services is also included.
