| This report provides the results of nearly 1,000 Web-based surveys with US business decision-makers in the mid-sized and enterprise business markets in In-Stat/MDR's Technology Adoption Panel. It includes current usage of Web-based services and resources, such as Internet-accessible e-mail, for-pay news and database subscriptions, online banking, and online appointment scheduling, among mid-sized and enterprise business IT decision-makers, as well as which of these services companies in these actually provide to their employees. This research shows how often mid-sized and enterprise business decision-makers use Web-based services, how the usage of these services has impacted total time spent online in this market and, consequently, if decision-makers have requested faster Web connections directly as a result. The kinds of locations (main, branch and home office) and the connections used in each of these locations is presented, in addition to which locations decision-makers have requested faster connections. Brand awareness data for major Web-based services providers for the mid-sized and enterprise company markets, such as Divine, Jamcraker, iCarian and Portera, are included in this report.
