Worldwide router sales revenues for branch office, enterprise, service provider edge, and service provider core routers totaled $1.84 billion in 4Q 04. This was an increase of 3% from the previous quarter. Service provider edge router and core router sales revenues increased by 3% and 2%, respectively, from 3Q 04. Branch office routers accounted for 71% of the overall unit shipments, and 20% of the overall sales revenues.
