The MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot from Novatel Wireless, is a dual-mode (CDMA, WiFi) device that enables up to five WiFi connections downstream and connects to the CDMA data network upstream. It has a form factor of 3.5” x 2.3” x 0.4” and weighs 2.05 ounces, making it extremely portable. Its battery can withstand up to four hours of active use and provides 40 hours of standby time. MiFi 2200 has GPS capabilities as well. Verizon and Sprint have comparable MiFi only packs while Sprint also adds a notebook enabled cellular wireless access plan.The device will allow them to bring a WiFi hotspot to customers virtually anywhere and everywhere- and whenever they need it - on any WiFi-enabled device.
